Sampach

Sampach is a desert in the municipality of Gersfeld in the district of Fulda . In the literature it is also called Sambach.

Geographical location

The desert is in the area of the former Weyhers office, probably near Gersfeld and was in the domain of the von Ebersberg called von Weyhers . The exact location is not yet known.

history

In 1413, when a quarter of the Weyhers Castle was sold by von Hune , Sambach was ceded to the Fulda Monastery with a few other places . The exact location is not known.
