Samson Ramadhani ( Samson Ramadhani Nyonyi ; born December 25, 1982 in Singida ) is a Tanzanian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

In 2003 he won the Beppu-Ōita marathon and set his personal best in fifth at the London marathon with 2:08:01 h. He came in 15th at the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis and 40th at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

The following year he was fifth at the World Championships in Helsinki . In 2006 he won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne . A victory at the Lake Biwa Marathon in 2007 was followed by a 25th place at the World Championships in Osaka . In 2008, he finished 55th in the marathon of the Beijing Olympic Games . Four years later at the London Olympics , he was 66 in the same competition.
