Samson Sor Siriporn ( Thai : แซม ซั่ น ส ศิริ พร. * 26. April 1983 in the province of Lop Buri ) is a Thai boxer and current women's world boxing champion of the World Boxing Council in the Light Flyweight .
Siriporn, who was sentenced to ten years in prison for drug trafficking at seventeen , learned to box in prison for self-defense purposes and fought most of her fights behind bars.
On April 3, 2007 she defeated the Japanese Ayaka Miyano in the world championship fight for the previously vacant WBC lightweight flyweight title for women after a unanimous decision of the judges. The fight took place in the infamous Klong Prem Prison in Bangkok .
