The Samsung i8910 HD is a smartphone from the South Korean company Samsung . The Samsung i8910 HD has been available on the German market since February 2009. It is sometimes referred to as Omnia HD by the press , but not by Samsung itself, as Omnia only stands for Windows-based devices.
The Samsung i8910 HD runs on the basis of the Symbian S60 5th Edition (also called Symbian ^ 1) operating system . Operation is via a capacitive " AMOLED " - touch screen with a resolution of 360 × 640 pixels. With a screen size of 3.7 inches or 9.4 cm, Samsung delivered the largest screen in this technology at the time of publication. The smartphone has an 8 megapixel camera and is the first mobile phone to record HD videos with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels (720p, 24 frames / sec.).
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers Wi-Fi with DLNA, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a standard micro-USB port, a 3.5 mm audio port and a TV output. The built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS is used by the optional Samsung Mobile Navigator ( Route 66 ) software .
The Samsung i8910 HD is equipped with the following sensors:
