Samuel Biilmann
Samuel Mikkel Kristen Frederik Biilmann (born April 9, 1936 in Maniitsoq ) is a Greenlandic pastor , catechist and teacher .
Life
Samuel Biilmann graduated from Grønland's seminary in 1955 and then worked as a teacher and catechist. In 1976 he was ordained . However, he was already active as a pastor in Neriunaq from 1955 to 1956 . In 1956 he moved to Kullorsuaq and in 1963 to Sarfannguit . In 1967 he first became a pastor in a city while serving in Tasiilaq . In 1972 he moved to Maniitsoq , the following year to Kangaamiut , and in 1975 he became a Greenlandic pastor in Denmark. In 1976 he returned to Tasiilaq. In 1980 he moved to Upernavik before 1983 for the third time became the pastor of Tasiilaq. In 1985 he became pastor for the second time in Upernavik and in 1992 moved to Nanortalik . His last post was in 1995 when he became pastor of Ilulissat , before retiring in 2001 after 46 years pastor in 10 different locations. On November 24, 2006 he received the Nersornaat in silver.
