Samuel Paul Altmann

Salomon Paul Altmann (also: Samuel Paul Altmann , born as Sally Scholaum Altmann) (born June 27, 1878 in Berlin ; died October 7, 1933 in Achern , Baden) was a German economist .

Life

With a doctorate in economics, Altmann was a scientific official at the Frankfurt / Main Chamber of Commerce from 1906 to 1908 . In 1909 he became professor of economics and finance at the Mannheim University of Commerce and, from 1910, also taught as a professor at Heidelberg University .

Altmann was married to the social politician Elisabeth Gottheiner (1874–1930) since 1906 .
