The ships of the San class are among the container ships operated by the Hamburg Süd shipping company .

The ships sailed under the flag of Liberia with their home port Monrovia . After the takeover of Hamburg Süd by AP Møller-Mærsk , the ships have been flying the Singapore flag since the beginning of 2018 .
