The Romanesque - Pisan church of San Pietro e Paolo is located away from the village, in the old cemetery of Lumio in the northwest of the island of Corsica . The undivided single-nave building from the second half of the 11th century consists of a nave and a wide apse .

The church has monochrome, carefully carved brickwork of pink granite. A semicircular apse with a semicircular vault closes the nave to the east. By removing the roof structure and installing a barrel vault with stitch caps; the installation of additional pillars became necessary. On this occasion, a small arched door field with floral motifs and braided ornamentation was installed.

The side walls are structured by pilasters . An entrance with a monolithic lintel on the south side. Palm leaf decorations on the cornices and friezes reveal ancient influences. A frame-like protrusion may indicate a former vestibule. It is crowned by two lions with curly manes, fangs and protruding tongues that were subsequently inserted into the facade.

A Spanish bell tower has been added to the wall above the apse . Its outside is divided by six rectangular pilasters and five blind arcades. The arcades with a double protrusion are supported by small carved consoles on the pilasters, the reliefs of which are heavily weathered. Under the cornice with a simple cornice there are small animal heads in the spandrels. In the arched areas of the arcades, the masonry is loosened up by circles and diamonds.
