history
San Policarpo was founded as a barrio in 1837 . The Barrios of San Policarpo, Bahay, Alugan, Pangpang, Japonan, Tabo, Binogawan and Cajagwayan from Oras became on June 16, 1948 under Republic Act No. 281 the Municipality of San Policarpo decided and formed on February 5, 1949.
