Sandleidet ( Norwegian for sandy isthmus ) is a moraine in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the western Petermann chain of the Wohlthat massif , it covers the surface of the Gråkammen and a small rock spur immediately northwest of it.
Aerial photographs of the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher were used for initial mapping. Norwegian cartographers, who descriptively named the moraine, mapped it on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
