Sandra Danicke

Sandra Danicke (* 1968 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German art historian , art critic and author .

Live and act

Danicke studied art history in Frankfurt am Main and received her doctorate there in 1999 with a topic on medieval church design. In the mid-1990s she began to write exhibition reviews for the Frankfurter Rundschau (FR). After a traineeship at FR, she reported regularly on the art world as a freelance writer. Since 2002 she has been the Rhein-Main correspondent for the art magazine art based in Frankfurt. Danicke also publishes in Die Zeit , the Süddeutsche Zeitung and other art magazines, including travel reports. Danicke is a passionate collector of shopping lists and has already written a book about her obsession.
