Sandra Paruszewski (born November 3, 1993 in Schramberg-Sulgen ) is a German wrestler with Polish roots who wrestles with the Germania Sulgen athletes' club. She became German champion in the weight class up to 53 kg in 2016 in Freiburg im Breisgau . 2017 started Paruszewski at the European Championships of women in Serbian Novi Sad kg to 55 in the weight class, finishing in 8th place. Her greatest international success so far was her participation in the World Wrestling Championships 2017 in Paris in the weight class up to 55 kg and a 19th place.
Career
Paruszewski began wrestling in 2007 at the age of 14 at AV Sulgen, a club in the city of Schramberg. She still belongs to this club and also represents it at international competitions. Paruszewski was initially trained by Philipp Rohrer, who is currently the trainer in the 1st Swiss league at RC Willisau . Later then by Gurgen Bagdasarinan and Nicolae Ghiță . She completed the commercial vocational college in 2014 and started studying business administration at the Offenburg University in 2014 . Paruszewski has lived in Freiburg since 2017 in order to train daily at the Freiburg-Black Forest Olympic base .
