Works (selection)

Pitkin's interest in nature, science and the reciprocal connections between people and the world around them provide her with the inspiration for her mostly outdoor work. Their interest in dealing with the environment allows them to design their works in such a way that they leave the impression of being a natural part of the space in which they are set up. To do this, she often uses forms that occur in nature, which are intended to induce the viewer to reflect on how we live in the modern world. She often works with materials such as copper and paper, but also with other media.

Pitkin's works are titled:

  • Possibilities , cotton and Kozo paper on polymer-coated copper
  • Silence
