Sandro Hersel

Sandro Hersel (born March 26, 1985 in Spremberg ) is a German politician ( AfD ). He has been a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament since 2016 .

Life

Hersel was born in Lusatia in 1985 . He was a member of a fraternity . Hersel has lived in Greifswald since 2008 . He is a trained tax clerk .

Hersel was a member of the CDU . He has been committed to AfD since April 2013 and is the chairman of his local district association Vorpommern-Greifswald. There Hersel ran for the district council in 2014. He is a board member and treasurer of the AfD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Hersel has been a member of the seventh state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 2016 . He was elected to the state parliament via the state list. Hersel stood for the Mecklenburg Lake District I - Vorpommern-Greifswald I constituency and received 25.1% of the first votes.

AfD chat logs

In August 2017, minutes of a chat among AfD members, including Sandro Hersel, became known. In these minutes, the publication of which led to the resignation of the AfD deputy parliamentary group leader in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament, Holger Arppe , Hersel wrote in a discussion about burning refugee homes: "Burning refugee homes are not an act of aggression, but an act of desperation against decisions from above." On the occasion of planned blockades by left activists at an AfD party congress, Hersel commented: "We will probably have to shoot our way."

According to the protocols, Hersel did not object to multiple further fantasies that glorified violence against political opponents, which were expressed by Arppe and other members of the chat, but did not react.
