Sandvikfjellet (Fosdalen)

The Sandvikfjellet is a mountain of the Scandinavian mountain range in the Norwegian municipality Stryn province Vestland .

It reaches a height of 1472 meters and rises above the southwestern shore of Lake Oppstrynsvatnet . The Breifonna glacier extends north of the summit . To the south the mountain drops steeply into the Fosdalen valley . To the east at the foot of Sandvikfjellet on the lakeshore is the village of Oppstryn .
