Sandy Island is a small uninhabited island of Grenada in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean just off the northwest coast of Carriacou Island .

The island is located just off the northwest coast of Carriacou, in front of the Paradise Beach of L'Esterre . Together with Mabouya Island and the Caps Point Cistern and Lauriston Point, it forms the boundary of L'Esterre Bay ( Fijay Bay ). The island extends oblong from west to east. There is a beach bar.
