Sankt Salvator (officially St. Salvator ) is a district of the municipality of Rimsting in the district of Rosenheim on the state road 2093 halfway between Prien am Chiemsee and the Prien district of Siggenham .

Due to the location on a moraine hill, a small country house settlement developed in which the writer Wilhelm Jensen , his friend, painter Emil Lugo and the Chiemsee painter Rudolf Sieck, settled as well-known personalities .

The defining and eponymous building is the pilgrimage church of St. Salvator from around 1470.
