Siggenham is a district of the market Prien am Chiemsee in the district of Rosenheim on the state road 2093 on the way between Prien and the municipality of Frasdorf .

When Sicenhaim , Sikinhaim , Sikkenkaim or Sigenheim were first recorded in writing in the 12th century, the name goes back to an abbreviated form of Sieghart . It is not clear whether there is a connection with the Grundfrei Sieghart, who gave the place Siegharting its name in the wider area .
