Bachham is a district of the market Prien am Chiemsee in the district of Rosenheim .

history

From around 1120 under the name Bachain , also known as Pachaheim or Bacheim , in the 12th century Bacheim or Pachheim , later around 1736 as Pachhamb . The name is probably much older, however, endings in -ham and -heim belong to the second oldest layer of names in settlement history.

Bachham was a district of the community Wildenwart . On May 1, 1978, this was divided as part of the regional reform in Bavaria , the northern part with Bachham was incorporated into Prien am Chiemsee.
