Prutdorf is a village in the municipality of Prien am Chiemsee in Chiemgau in Upper Bavaria .
geography
Prutdorf is located in the southwest of Chiemgau, between Frasdorf and Prien am Chiemsee. It borders Wildenwart to the south .
The road connection from Mauerkirchen to Bernau used to run through Prutdorf , with a bridge over the Prien to the east of the town .
history
Prutdorf was first mentioned as Prucdorf around 1144/47 , around 1446 as pruckdorf , around 1532 as Pruggdorff and around 1688 as Pruggdorf.
Until the completion of the regional reform in Bavaria , Prutdorf was part of the municipality of Wildenwart . On May 1, 1978 this was divided, the northern part with Prutdorf was reclassified to Prien am Chiemsee.
