history
From around 735 the settlement is documented under slightly different names, including Truterreute (735), Truthersreute (790), Trutheristorf (1130), Trovtherstorph (1146), Trutherstorf (1147/1155), Tr.therstorf (1154–1158), Thruthersdorf (1170–1175), Trouthersdorf (1183–1196), Trutheristorf and Tr.thersdorph (both 12th century).
The name of the place and the arrangement of the parcels still at the end of the 18th century suggest that a warlord with entourage originally settled here, who distributed his land among his followers. As a result, two archaeological monuments are still recorded in the area of Trautersdorf:
- Evidence of settlement during the Roman Empire
- Remains of a Celtic or Bavarian fortification with ramparts
