Sant'Alberto Magno is the Roman Catholic parish church of the same parish in the Roman district Vigne Nuove , a north-east external border district (Via delle Vigne Nuove 653).

It has been the titular church of the Cardinal Priest of Sant'Alberto Magno since 2016 . The current title holder Anthony Soter Fernandez took possession of it on November 21, 2016.

The church is named after the German saint Albertus Magnus (1200–1280).

history

A parish was established in 1983.

In 1988 the foundation stone for the church was laid and in 1991 architect Sandro Benedetti finished the construction.

On November 19, 2016, Pope Francis elevated her to the title Church of the Cardinal Priest of Sant'Alberto Magno . The only title holder to date is Anthony Soter Fernandez , Kuala Lumpur , who took possession of it two days after its creation.
