Sant'Ilario is a district of the Italian port city of Genoa . The district is located on the hills bordering the Nervi district and administratively belongs to the Munizip IX Levante . Sant'Ilario is mentioned in the music piece Bocca di Rosa by the famous songwriter Fabrizio de André and offers a wide panorama over the Golfo Paradiso of the Ligurian Sea on the slopes of the Ligurian Apennines .

The city center of Genoa is about ten kilometers (as the crow flies) away. The center of the district, on the other hand, can be reached via a large number of small ravines ( Creuza ), which in the midst of rich nature allow excellent views over the Gulf of Genoa.
