Nervi (Genoa)

Nervi is a district of Genoa in the far east of the Italian port city.
In addition to a small tourist harbor, there is a promenade named after Anita Garibaldi along a long sea wall . (This young actor is in the film Palombella Rossa by Nanni Moretti along.)
Known under the name Parchi di Nervi , there are three parks in the district, which is also a health resort , in two of which the ballet festival Festival Internazionale del Balletto di Nervi takes place at irregular intervals .
The mountains rising like Monte Fasce directly behind the sea give Nervi a pleasant climate; it is not uncommon for it to be 10 ° C warmer in winter than in the rest of Genoa.
