Santo António dos Cavaleiros is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Loures . The community had 26,169 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Santo António dos Cavaleiros and Frielas were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Santo António dos Cavaleiros e Frielas . Santo António dos Cavaleiros is the seat of this newly formed community.
Attractions
The Quinta do Conventinho , a former Franciscan monastery from the 16th century, now houses the District Museum of Loures .
