Santo Tirso de Prazins is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Santo Tirso de Prazins belongs to the Guimarães county in the Braga district . The municipality had an area of 2.7 km² and has 993 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The community is only slightly urbanized.
On September 29, 2013 the parishes of Prazins (Santo Tirso) and Corvite were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Prazins Santo Tirso e Corvite .
