The Dinkelacker-Schwaben Brau GmbH & Co. KG in the Group of Dinkelacker Brewery Management GmbH is the merger of the Stuttgart breweries Dinkelacker and Schwaben Braeu .

History as a Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu

As early as 1994, the two breweries handled their logistics together under the name Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu Logistik (DSL) .

In 1996 Dinkelacker and Schwaben Bräu merged to form Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu AG , which was taken over by InBev on October 1, 2004 .

Since January 2, 2007, the company has been an independent family-owned company again under the name Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu GmbH & Co. KG . In 2012 800,000 hl and in 2017 750,000 hl of beer were brewed.

In 2018, 66% of the shares in the Mauritius Brewery in Zwickau were taken over.

  • Sanwald (The Sanwald brewery was taken over by Dinkelacker in 1977 and continued as a brand. For one year, in the 1986/87 Bundesliga season , Sanwald was advertised on the shirts of VfB Stuttgart. In 1994, the Sanwald wheat brand brewed 300,000 hectoliters.)
