Sara Lane

Sara Lane (born March 12, 1949 in New York City , New York ) is a former American actress who made her debut in the role of Kit Austin in the 1965 crime film It Happened at 8:30 a.m. (I Saw What You Did ) , in the credits of which her name appeared as Sarah Lane .

Life

Sara Lane then worked between 1966 and 1970 in 105 episodes of the fifth to eighth season of the western series The People of the Shiloh Ranch . There she played Elizabeth Grainger, the granddaughter of the new owner John Grainger (played by Charles Bickford ), who had taken over Shiloh from his predecessor, Judge Henry Garth (played by Lee J. Cobb ) in the transition from season four to five .

During this time, the western film The Meanest Men in the West , premiered in 1967, was created , whose relationship to the television series about the Shiloh Ranch is unmistakable; because in the film Lee J. Cobb plays the judge Henry Garth, whom he also played in the first four seasons of the series shot between 1962 and 1966. Sara Lane plays Elizabeth Garth in this film, which makes her the judge's relative.
