Sarah Hunter (born March 16, 1965 in White Rock ) is a Canadian wheelchair tennis player .

Career

Sarah Hunter started wheelchair tennis at the age of 34 and starts in the quadriplegic class .

She took part in two Paralympic Games . In 2004 she was eliminated in the singles quarter-finals against Peter Norfolk in Athens . In doubles she reached the semi-finals with Brian McPhate . There they lost to David Wagner and Nick Taylor , as well as in the subsequent bronze match against Monique de Beer and Bas van Erp .

At the Wheelchair Tennis Masters , Sarah Hunter won the doubles competition alongside Peter Norfolk in 2003 and 2004. In 2013 she reached the final again with Greg Hasterok , which they lost to David Wagner and Nick Taylor.

In the world rankings she achieved her best placings with second place in singles on April 21, 2003 and 14th place in doubles on October 16, 2000.
