Nicholas "Nick" Taylor (born November 12, 1979 in Wichita , Kansas ) is an American wheelchair tennis player .

Career

Nick Taylor, who plays in the quadriplegic class , was particularly successful in doubles. With David Wagner he won a total of ten Grand Slam titles in doubles between 2007 and 2015. He was victorious at the Wheelchair Tennis Masters , always together with David Wagner, from 2005 to 2007, in 2009 and from 2011 to 2015.

David Wagner has taken part in the Paralympic Games three times since the quadriplegic class was first held in 2004 . In 2004, 2008 and 2012 he won the gold medal in doubles alongside David Wagner. In the individual he lost in 2004 and 2008 in each case in the game for bronze, before he finally won his first individual medal with bronze in 2012. In 2016 he won the silver medal in doubles with David Wagner, while he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the singles competition.
