At the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing , medals were awarded in six wheelchair tennis competitions. The decisions were made between September 13th and 15th, 2008 in the Olympic Green Tennis Center .
Classes
In the Paralympic tennis competitions, athletes had to have massive functional restrictions in at least one leg. Athletes with three or four limbs (quadriplegics) started mixed.
procedure
A total of 112 athletes, including at least 64 male and at least 32 female, took part in the Paralympic tennis competitions. A singles and doubles were played for women and men as well as for quadriplegics .
