Sarah Michael (born July 22, 1990 in Ibadan , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian soccer player .

Career

Michael began her career with Summer Queens FC in 2004 and moved to Ebony Queens FC at the age of 15. In 2008 she was promoted to the professional team of the Ebony Queens and moved to the Swedish club Piteå IF in July 2009 after 2 ½ years . After she came to only six missions in the first five months, in which she scored a goal for Piteå IF, Michael moved to Djurgårdens IF in January 2010 . After moving to Djurgårdens IF, she scored seven goals in 19 games. In January 2011 she left Djurgårdens IF and switched to league rivals KIF Örebro .

International career

In 2008, Michael competed for Nigeria in the Women's U-20 World Cup in Chile and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . At the 2011 women's soccer world championship , she represented her country at the tournament in Germany .
