Sarina Nowak

Sarina Nowak (born December 3, 1993 in Bohlsen ) is a German curvy model and body positivity activist.

Career

Nowak attended secondary school near her home town. She started her career in 2009 as a candidate for the fourth season of Germany's Next Topmodel . She became the crowd's favorite and, in sixth place, got a contract with ONEeins Management, the agency run by Heidi Klum's father. She later canceled the contract with ONEeins and emigrated to the USA. Her contract was terminated there because she was “too fat” in the agency's eyes. She then decided to give up starvation to keep her figure and became a curvy model. She has modeled for Good American , among others . It is listed at Wilhelmina. Nowak lives in Los Angeles .

In 2018, Nowak's first book Curvy - My Way to More Happiness and Self-Confidence, was published by Graefe und Unzer ( ISBN 978-3833864117 ) and reached number 40 on the Spiegel bestseller list .
