Bohlsen is a district of the Gerdau municipality in the Suderburg municipality in the Uelzen district . This is in the northeast of Lower Saxony .

The place is east of the core area of ​​Gerdau and west of the core area of Uelzen . The B 71 runs on the southern outskirts .

The Gerdau , the 30 km long left or western source river of the Ilmenau, flows through the village . Further west stretches the 398  ha large nature reserve Mönchbruch .

The place is with the water mill Bohlsen on the Lower Saxony Mill Road .
