Sarswati Chaudhary (born February 12, 1997 ) is a Nepalese sprinter .

Athletic career

Sarswati Chaudhary gained her first international experience in 2014 at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei , where she was eliminated in the 100-meter run with 13.65 s in the lead, as well as over 200 meters with 28.03 s. In 2016 she finished sixth over 200 meters at the South Asian Games in Guwahati in 26.18 s and was eliminated again in the first round at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City with 13.11 s and 26.91 s respectively. In 2019 she took part in the world championships in Doha over 100 meters thanks to a wildcard and was eliminated there with a new national record of 12.72 seconds in the first roundout. Then she took part in the Military World Games in Wuhan and improved there to 12.66 s. In addition, she was eliminated in the 200-meter run with 26.33 s in the lead. At the beginning of December, she finished eighth over 200 meters at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in 26.26 s and came fifth with the Nepalese 4 x 100 meter relay in 49.87 s.

In 2019 Chaudhary became the Nepalese champion over 100 and 800 meters.
