Saruja is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 2,196 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1,536.
geography
Saruja is located on the southern bank of the Gambia River in the Central River Region , District Fulladu West . The place is about 2.3 kilometers northeast of Brikama Ba and 1.5 kilometers west of Sapu .
