Brikama Ba is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 4,204 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 3,051.
geography
Brikama Ba, not to be confused with Gambia's second largest town Brikama , is located on the southern bank of the Gambia River in the Central River Region , District Fulladu West . To distinguish it from Brikama, in the West Coast region , Brikama Ba is often followed by " Village " ( English village provided). The place, the second largest in the region, is located directly on the South Bank Road , Gambia's most important highway. On this road, Brikama Ba is about 25 kilometers west of Janjanbureh . To the south, Boiram is around 3.8 kilometers away.
Nearby, in the Gambia River, around four kilometers away, are the inland islands of Kai Hai Islands .
