Sary ( Ukrainian Сари ; Russian Сары ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 2,400 inhabitants (2001).

The village was founded in 1622 is the administrative center of the same name, 86.465 km² District Municipality in the center of Rajon Hadiach to which even the villages Donziwschtschyna ( Донцівщина , ) with about 30 residents, Kyjiwske ( Київське , ) with about 30 inhabitants, Mali Budyschtscha ( Малі Будища , ) with about 420 inhabitants, Sarantschowa Dolyna ( Саранчова Долина , ) with about 30 inhabitants and Tscherwonyj Kut ( Червоний Кут , ) with about 120 inhabitants.

Sary is located at an altitude of 105  m on the right bank of the Psel , a 717 km long, left tributary of the Dnepr , 8 km southwest of the Rajonzentrum Hadiach and about 120 km north of the Oblastzentrum Poltawa .

Territorial road T-17-25 runs through the village .
