Sascha Detlof (born September 7, 1982 in Berlin ) is a former German handball player .

After the backcourt player played at VfL Tegel in his youth , he moved to Reinickendorfer Füchsen in 2002 . In October 2004 he twisted his knee in a second division game against SG Solingen and suffered a cruciate ligament tear . Since the ligaments were not properly sewn on during the operation, he had to be operated on again.

Detlof played between 2007 and 2009 with the Reinickendorfer Füchsen in the 1st handball league . Detlof was known for his defensive skills. From 2009 he was active for the second team of the Füchse, but ended his career in 2010 for professional reasons.

From 2002 Sascha Detlof studied medicine in Berlin at the Free University and the Humboldt University with a two-year break . In 2009 he finished his studies and did his practical year .
