Sascha Meiner (born November 30, 1988 in Leipzig ) is a German handball player . The sports soldier plays on the left wing position at the third division club SG LVB Leipzig .

Career

Sascha Meiner started playing handball at SG LVB Leipzig . He was a C-youth player, Sachsenmeister and unofficial East German champion together with Carlo Wittig . In 2004 he moved as a youth player to 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch where he played in the junior team. In 2008 he became vice European champion in Romania with the junior national team of the DHB . In 2010 he moved back to his home club SG LVB Leipzig in the Oberliga Mitteldeutschland for free. In the 2010/11 season he made it to the 3rd League East with SG LVB .
