Carlo Wittig (born November 3, 1988 in Leipzig ) is a German handball player . He plays on the left back position with the 4th division club TuS 1947 Radis .
Career
Carlo Wittig started playing handball at SG LVB Leipzig . As a C-youth player he became Sachsenmeister and an unofficial East German champion together with Sascha Meiner . In 2005 he moved as a youth player to 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch , where he played in the junior team. The following year he moved back to his home club, SG LVB Leipzig, in the regional league . Maik Nowak became aware of him in 2008 and brought him to the EHV Aue . In his second year at Aue, he played all 34 games of the 2nd Handball Bundesliga South and scored 74 goals. In the 2010/11 season he was plagued by injuries and could not play all games, he only made 18 games in which he only threw 11 goals. In 2012 he returned to SG LVB Leipzig. Since the 2015/2016 season he has been playing for TuS 1947 Radis in the Central German Oberliga.
