Saskia Webber (born June 13, 1971 in Princeton , New Jersey ) is an American football player .
Life
Webber started playing soccer when he was six. She attended Princeton High School . From 1996 to 1998 Webber was a member of the OKI FC Winds sports club . From 2001 to 2003, Webber played for the Philadelphia Charge and New York Power franchises in WUSA . From 1992 to 1999 she was a member of the US national soccer team. In 1996 she won the gold medal with the US selection at the Olympic Games in Atlanta , where she was not used as a substitute goalkeeper behind Briana Scurry . In 1999 she won the world championships with the US team. Webber lives openly gay in the United States.
