Satre (wife of Ramses I)
Satre ( daughter of Re ) was an ancient Egyptian royal consort of the 19th dynasty . She is best known from her grave ( QV38 ) in the Valley of the Queens . The grave can be dated under Seti I for stylistic reasons . She also bore the title " Wife of God of Amun " ( Hemet-netjer-en-Amun ) and "King's mother" ( Mut-nesut ), after which she was probably the wife of Ramses I and mother of Sethos I. It also appears in the temple of Seti I in Abydos , in his tomb and perhaps also in a chapel which Ramses I was consecrated by his father Seti I in Abydos.
