The Saudi Gazette is an English-language daily newspaper from Saudi Arabia . It was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Jeddah . Like its Arabic-language sister newspaper Okaz, it belongs to the Okaz Organization for Press and Publication media group .

In the early 1990s, the US Embassy rated the Saudi Gazette as probably the most anti-American newspaper in the country.

The Saudi Gazette has a circulation of 14,400 to 60,000 copies and competes with Arab News , the larger English-language daily from Saudi Arabia.

Ahmed Al-Sanad Yousuf has been its director since March 2005. Since April 14, 2007, the format of the newspaper has been renewed under Mohammed Al-Shoukani. The newspaper now focuses on the distribution of its English content on the Internet . It therefore only has four Saudi reporters, the rest of them are foreigners, primarily from the USA . In mid-February 2014, Somayya Jabarti became the first female editor-in-chief in the history of Saudi Arabia.
