Savo Štrbac
Savo Štrbac (* 1949 in Benkovac , Yugoslavia ) is the former information minister of the internationally unrecognized Republic of Serbian Krajina and was considered a confidante of the war criminals Milan Babić and Milan Martić, who were convicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) .
Life
Štrbac completed his law studies at the University of Zagreb and lived in Croatia until the outbreak of the Croatian War. Today he lives and works in Belgrade .
Štrbac worked as a judge in Zadar until October 1990 and was an employee of the Yugoslav secret service KOS ( Counter-Enlightenment Service ). Since 1994, he has supported ICTY chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte in obtaining information material for the preparation of indictments against the Croatian generals Ante Gotovina , Ivan Cermak and Mladen Markač .
As a citizen of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina , he founded the association “Veritas” in Banja Luka , which systematically researches and publishes evidence of the crimes committed against Serbs.
