Saw Swee Leong
Saw Swee Leong (born July 16, 1955 ) is a Malaysian badminton player .
Career
Saw Swee Leong was a supporter of the Malaysian men's national team in the Thomas Cup in 1976 . However, he couldn't prevent his team from losing 9-0 to Indonesia in the final. He himself had no chance in his singles against Rudy Hartono and Liem Swie King . Six years later, the team was only fifth in the Thomas Cup, although they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against England 4: 5.
Between the two men's team title fights, Saw Swee Leong took part in the men's singles at the 1980 World Championships, but lost there in his opening match against Syed Modi from India.
