Sawdi'el ( Hebrew זַבְדִּיאֵל, English Zavdiel , Swedish Savdiel ) is a moshav near the town of Kiryat Gat in Israel. The moshav is located in the Chewel Lachish region in the Shafir regional administration in the southern district . In 2018 the place had 527 inhabitants. Founded in 1950 by Yemeni Jews, the settlement was named after Savdiel in the biblical book Nehemiah 11:14.
