The Sawica (German: Sawitz ) is a small left tributary of the Omulew ( Omulef ) in Poland .
geography
The 50 km long river has its source as Saska (Heidbach) near the village of Łupowo ( Wappendorf ) in Gmina Dźwierzuty ( Mensguth ) in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (formerly East Prussia ) between the cities of Biskupiec ( Bishop's Castle ) and Szczytno ( Ortelsburg ) in a southerly direction, flowing through the 8.7 km² large lake Jezioro Sasek Wielki ( Großer Schobensee ) and the 1.68 km² large lake Jezioro Sędańskie ( Lake Danziger See ), leads in its further south the name Sawica , continues to flow through 3.16 km² large lake Jezioro Sasek Mały ( Paterschobensee or Kleiner Schobensee ) and finally flows into the Omulew in Wielbark ( Willenberg ).
