The Scale Beck is a short river in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Scale Beck is being built on the north flank of a mountain range formed by Starling Dodd and Red Pike . The Scale Beck flows in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Crummock Water Lake on its western shore.
Before the river enters the lake, it tumbles over the steps of the Scale Force waterfall.
