The Scar Peak is a 1,882 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the north side of the Taylor Valley it rises immediately east of the Lacroix Glacier .
The New Zealand Geographic Board appointed him in 1998 after the acronym for the S cientific C ommittee on A ntarctic R esearch (SCAR).
